Admin Password Reset Tool

Use this tool to quickly reset the password when you forget your admin backend password.

How to Use

  1. 1 Upload reset_password.php to your YikaiCMS website root directory (same level as index.php)
  2. 2 Visit http://your-domain/reset_password.php in your browser
  3. 3 Select the admin account you want to reset from the dropdown list, then enter and confirm the new password
  4. 4 Click the "Reset Password" button to complete the reset, then log in to the backend with the new password
  5. 5 Important: Delete this file immediately after use! Leaving it on the server poses a security risk

Notes

  • This tool can reset passwords without logging in, so do not keep it on the server long-term
  • New password must be at least 6 characters
  • Applicable to YikaiCMS v1.0.0 and above
